The Austin Police Department (APD) is seeking community assistance in locating a vehicle and driver that may have information related to a traffic fatality.

A 2017-2019 White Honda CR-V was seen leaving the scene of a fatal crash in the 8100 block of S IH 35 SVRD NB on June 25, 2022. The vehicle will be missing silver trim pieces around the front, and the right passenger headlight will have damage to the front passenger side headlight. The grille will be missing its trim in the center.

The pedestrian died at the scene. The vehicle that hit the pedestrian left the scene. The investigation is still ongoing.
